This is the first time I am up the bridge without the car. We tried something different instead of walking. We ride our bicycles. The bike I was riding was a bit defective. I was a little distracted because of that. Note to self, get a properly working bike. This year, the event is very different. Apart from being held at the 2nd Penang Bridge, it is also much more social media oriented. Runners were seen fiddling with their smartphones and taking #selfies during the marathon.

Shot this using my S2 when I was on a work-related travel to California. Do you know that this is the world’s last manually operated cable car? It is now an icon of San Francisco.

I went for a short trip to Cameron Highlands last August. I notice that there are a number of new attractions there which promote lavender plant. I took a few experimental shots with the 50mm. They were not really great shots but they sure were some good experiences.

I attend this event almost every year. I enjoy this kind of event where I can freely shoot and get the best out of it. The Nine Emperor Gods Festival is a nine-day celebration on the first to the ninth day of the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar.

I had a chance to travel to San Francisco 2 weeks ago. This was my first time to the United States. I did not really had time to plan and prepare for this trip as everything turns out to be last minute. Big thanks to a great colleague of mine in the States who drove me to San Francisco.
