Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco

This is one of the rare opportunity for me to travel to America. Despite the busy schedule I had, I made it to San Francisco for a short visit and took some amazing photos at the Fisherman’s Wharf.

6th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2014

I skipped the Malaysian Grand Prix for this Hot Air Balloon Fiesta this year. This is the first time I am attending this event in Putrajaya. I’m not impressed with the show because photo taking is very limited and there are way too many photographers around. Unlike the one I have attended back in the year 2010 in Kedah where photographers can have much freedom to access the free flying area, this one is very restricted and expensive. The free flying area cost RM20 and has limited number. Here are some of the shots.

Pin Xiang Roasted Duck Rice

I took these photos last year when I was on a quest to find great food. This roast duck meat is the best I have ever eaten. The “char siew” (fork-roast pork) is also one of the finest.

Penang Jade Emperor God Birthday Celebration 2014 拜天公

Pai Thee Kong, is a big celebration for Hokkien people in Penang. It falls on the ninth day of the first lunar month. I am usually occupied at home to prepare the praying ritual. I managed to get to Chew Jetty slightly after midnight and captured these magnificent shots.
